Monday my parents celebrated what I call their "leap year" anniversary. And while the year they leaped was not fun by any means it allowed our family to be reminded that God, if you allow Him, can create good out of chaos. Praise God!
The above picture of them has always cracked me up. It looks like a really BAD movie. Really? A blue ruffle tux shirt! Really? A floppy white hat! Really? that hair dad! Really? Really?
It was taken at my aunt Brenda's wedding. Makes me wonder what I will think of pictures taken during 2000 in 2030.

Oh my goodness, I feel like I jumped right into the "way-back machine!" I LOVE it! I was 17 in 1974, still in high school, and I remember very well those same types of clothing and... *ahem*... yep, guilty of wearing similar myself. LOL! My first husband wore a baby blue, what was then called a "leisure suit," the day we got married at the courthouse. Even now when I think back on that suit I say "ewwwwww." ROTFL!

Love your Walk Down Memory Lane :o) Growing up in the 70's and 80's, I have some photos that are real "doozies"! (I often think about the styles of that era! What or who was in charge of the clothing and hair style trends? haha I wore the "winged bangs" like Farrah Fawcett and the bell bottom jeans...)
