When I was younger, my family would get together with all of the cousins in my aunt's RV and go Christmas Caroling! We LOVED it! We would go around to all of the retirement homes in the area (seeing our family first) and bring a little cheer to the place for an evening! It was so much fun!

As a child, I remember reading the Christmas story from the big Family Bible on Christmas Eve. As my daughter grows, I want to carry on that tradition.

hmmm..favorite holiday tradition...walking the neighborhood with hot cocoa to see the Holiday lights. We are fortunate to live in a neighborhood now where the lights are crazy beautiful - so the Handley family now takes nightly walks to admire them!

Favorite childhood tradition was going to the Christmas Village with my family. My dad loved it as well and would talk about his childhood.

my favorite tradition is baking sugar cookies - and of course eating them. It's been something I've done ever since I can remember.

My favorite holiday tradition? I have three top ones - and I do them with MY four girls too...

Baking Italian Brownies - only at Christmas time - which makes them EXTRA delicious!

Letting the girls unwrap ONE gift on Christmas Eve. - and that gift is ALWAYS new Christmas jammies.

Snuggling UNDER the tree in our new Christmas jammies reading the night before Christmas before bed. :)
